CALLING ALL CRAFTERS

Quota Beenleigh Handcraft Projects are now live and eager for your help in order to provide for those in need. Current projects are:

  • Premmie baby beanies

  • Adult beanies, scarves and fingerless gloves

  • Adult clothing protectors/feed cloths for disabled and elderly

Patterns are available for many of the projects we are working on - please see below for these patterns. Donations of wool for any of the knitted projects will be gratefully accepted.

In the coming months we will also be making fidget cloths for dementia patients and the disabled. For these we will need belt buckles, zips, beads in varying sizes, ribbons, lace, binding, shoelaces, old keys, large buttons etc. Examples of these cloths are below.

Completed items and donations can be left at Murphy’s Pharmacy – Corner of York and Manila Streets Beenleigh or contact us for pick up. If you would like to get involved in our regular social craft sessions or have items to be collected, please email communityservice@quotabeenleigh.org.au.
